Satsangs
Getting involved with a satsang near you is a wonderful way to help you feel more connected to Amma throughout the year. Satsangs usually encompass at least some of the following: Singing, Chanting, Meditating, Amma readings or discussions, and Prayer. Some satsangs are involved with community outreach, like Mother’s Kitchen. Each satsang seems to have its own “flavor”. You can be involved as little or as much as you like. Satsang members frequently are more up to date on Amma events and more involved in special tour sevas, like prasad giving. A little effort can yield great reward. Help us make Colorado satsangs grow. We meet every third Saturday night of the month at 6:30PM. This satsang is especially designed for newcomers so we have copies of all chants and bhajans available and spend a little time in discussion before beginning. Satsang includes 108 Names of Amma, sometimes adding the 108 Names of Devi, devotional singing (bhajans), arati (offering of the flame) and a short meditation. Vegetarian potluck dinner rounds out the evening.

We meet every second Saturday at 5:00 pm. The time varies so please call before hand. We read Mother’s message from Matruvani and chant the 108 names, bhajans followed by arati, meditation, talk or video and dinner. Every Sunday morning at 8:30 am, we also chant Devi’s 1000 names.

Located 13 miles east of Salida in Howard, we hope to serve all devotees in the South Central Mountain Region of Colorado.
