Peace Stick

In November, 2004 the Bailey Satsang installed a Peace Stick. Hand carved by Eryn, with “peace” written on all 4 sides (each in a different language), it has a beautiful Om at the top. Vidya presided over the ceremony which included chanting the “Lokah”, filling the hole with Devi Bhava flowers and vibhuti, and each devotee speaking about what peace means to them. Tejaswini chanted Amma’s 108 names.

West Denver Mother’s Kitchen

Tejaswini’s satsang in West Denver concludes with making and distributing 108 lunches for the homeless in Denver. This Mother’s Kitchen project is so sweet and so much fun! Below are photos from the Christmas 2004 Mother’s Kitchen when some friends from the Boulder satsang came to help out.

Tsunami Relief Garage Sale

In March, 2005 the Bailey Satsang organized a huge garage sale to benefit Tsunami Relief. Although March can be the snowiest month in the mountains, it was an unusually warm Spring weekend. Devotees came from all over Colorado to help out.
