Peace Puja and Prayer Circle

What: Puja and Prayer Circle for World Peace
–followed by a vegetarian pot luck
A puja is a special act of worship or offering in devotion to God; it is a simple yet sacred way of expressing our love, helping us to draw nearer to the Divine.
When: Saturday October 18 Noon to 4:00 PM
Where: The home of Peter and Holly Yellen in Bailey
Who: Everyone is welcome - old and new friends of Amma’s; those who are interested in supporting efforts for world peace, those who have never attended a puja before
We will chant the universal prayer for world peace “Lokaha Samasthaha Sukhino Bhavantu” followed by a special puja. If you would like to contribute to the puja, you may bring flowers, garlands, flower petals, honey, ghee, yogurt, rose water, or vibhuti, kum kum, or sandalwood paste. Fruit or any special treat is also used and may be brought by anyone.
